They didn't offer you a line of credit. They offered you the chance to ASK them for a line of credit. It doesn't mean they'll say yes.

At what rate of intrest ? I would ignore it just as one should when they get credit cards in the mail that only need activation.

We are getting offers left and right, too.

Please understand what they mean by "credit drying up."

The companies that are sinking with their bad paper can't get credit.

This should not be my problem or yours. Check it out.

Oh yeah, went straight in file 13.

Um.... why would they send mail to someone so that certain someone can ask for a line of credit...and then they can tell you no....you don't qualify? Wouldn't that be like a waste of resources + just really, really stupid? Why would you offer credit to someone who couldn't qualify?

HA HA HA, that's so ironic because of the current economic situation.

It is just weird though..."Hey! Want 50 grand? Call now!" I thought those days were over, even for people with good credit scores and good cash flow. At least, that's what I've been hearing.

I get unsolicited offers of money all the time, usually from Nigeria.

I get that all the time by mail like every other month. They always end up in trash. If you don't need it, don't bother.

That is not the point. If we are in a credit crunch then why are we getting credit offers.

I swear. This is exactly why politicians can get away with what they do.

I get tons of them also.....from legitimate businesses. It's really quite dumb and annoying. If I want credit, I'll come and find you.
