A list of gold reserves by country; also shows what % of reserves are in gold. Europe very heavy, Asia not very much.

The gold ETF (GLD) now would be equivalent to the 6th largest holder of gold in the world... and 1 hedge fund manager owns 9% of that ETF... so essentially if he was his own country, he would be about the 20th largest country in the world in terms of gold holdings.
