Im so sick of school I could scream. One e-commerce class has me researching a business's financial begginning ( and there is absolutely no information either on that business's web site OR through multiple Google searches)

Yet another isnt really a class, its based on a business simulation game that I have no effing clue what its talking about, and to top it off its a GROUP project. Two of my group members have basically taken over, and rarely bother to tell me what the hell is going on, even thought the game involves alot of numbers and technical things that are easy to miss if everyone isnt informed. Meanwhile, we're each supposed to turn in a sheet that explains our "reasoning" for making decisions in this game.

When I first began college, I was excited to learn and competitive with my grades. Now I couldnt care less as long as I get a B. Im sick of it at this point. Its sad that I prefer working now as to going to school, and all I can think of when Im there is how much longer till I can go home.

the point of college is to learn from your professor, each other and most importantly, to think and stand on your own two feet. if the others took over the project, get involved and take the project back. if you don't understand something go see your professor. i practically LIVED in my professor's offices and a lot of times if i got a bad grade i was able to argue my case and since the professor already knew me and my thought processes, i was able to boost my grade. it's all up to you. a job is great but just remember that what you do now affects your life. college improves your chances. retirement isn't till you get to your 70's these days. do you want to do your current job for that long? if not, don't quit school.

And guess who would be either at work or home with her family, because she has no life?

In college, the instructors aren't going to hold your hand and ask if everything is OK. If you aren't going to take initiative for your own learning, you're only hurting yourself. Blaming some external factor is the easy way out.

Exactly. All education is self-education.
