Years ago I found the street number & address where Gene Roddenbury was born but I lost the book it was in. I believe it was a street starting with a W or G near Pershing/Peidras or Pershing/Copia.

It was on Yandell at Eucalyptus, just off Cotton. Last I heard, there was a flower shop where the house used to be, with a plaque inside it indicating that it was the site of Gene Roddenberry's birthplace. The owner tore the house down many years ago, not knowing the significance of it at the time. He wasn't a "Star Trek" fan, had never even heard of the show. His son introduced him to it by showing him DVDs of the "Star Trek" movies, starting with "Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan," because his dad and Ricardo Montalban were about the same age.
