They changed affiliation and are now Planet Fitness. There are three in El Paso.

I used to go to EP fitness but it was hard with the kids. They had a child center but if my kid sneezed or coughed one time I had to take them home. It turned out to be a waste of money. Then I tried the YMCA. It was great until they doubled their prices for the programs for my kids. I would go workout while my kids took classes. But with the price increase I couldn't afford it anymore and didn't want to just dump my kids in the child care center all the time. Now I just bust butt at home. Saved money and got back into shape.
I do miss the pool at the Y though.

That was the one I went to. I believe they just improved their locker rooms. Unfortunately they just got too expensive for me. And they would allow their friends to use the racketball room although I had reserved it in advance. But oh well......maybe one day I'll be able to afford it again. The kids did enjoy the swimming.
