This week's newly-minted Tea Party Prom King and Queen -- New York gubernatorial nominee Carl Paladino and Delaware Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell -- could not be more different. She's a hyper-chaste critic of sexual deviance who would not even tell a lie to Hitler, he's a foul-mouthed fan of bestiality porn.
Alphonse D'Amato on Carl Paladino: 'Dangerous', 'Mean-Spirited' And Unfit For Office

Quite a cast of characters coming from the conservative world these days.

New Yorkers need someone "mean spirited and dangerous" to clean up Albany. But I love the irony of D'Amato calling someone else mean spirited.

Its funny.... liberals like to take a stroll down memory lane and point out the "bad" republicans that led us to this mess... and when these "bad" republicans don't get a chance to run again? They hate the "new" contenders... its too funny... that liberals "hate" whatever Republican takes the primary... and colors it as such... does it surprise me that liberals whatever is their opposition... nope, its all part of the game, but I get disgusted when liberals deny its a game... instead of talking about issues, the rather talk dirt... any wonder liberals haven't been able to do much the last two years...

Irony is when right wing posters get on here and PROVE that they don't know what they're talking about!

For evilnewbie's information Al D'Amato is a REPUBLICAN (former) Senator who endorsed Fred Thompson in 2008. Hardly a liberal.

If Dockside thinks a porn fan(Paladino) is the guy to clean up Albany he's in for a big suprise. Actually probably not much of a suprise, Paladino beat a guy who lost to Hillary Clinton, doesn't bode well for his chances against Cuomo.

Cuomo jr showed what he was made of during the financial crisis.

He wanted to reveal the names of people from AIG that received raises.

Why would that do?

That would expose private citizens to harassment by wackjobs on the street as well as politically sensitive businesses to avoid hiring those people to curry political favor.

Essentially he provoked vigilantism from his position as legal protector.

Cuomo jr showed he would set aside the law and common sense to gain political advantage.

LOL. classic Progressive RINOs trying to defend their "old boys" club. Paladino comes in promising to be a one term Governor while he sets into place the policies to clean up Albany and make New York state more business friendly for job creation. Yep, pretty mean spirited that he would dare challenge the entitled elitist Andrew Cuomo.

To see Paladino's and Cuomo's campaign strategies against each other, take a look at the sidebar to the article here:

Can I 'call him an a--hole?' Andrew Cuomo in tizzy after GOP foe Carl Paladino questions his manhood

As a person who lived in NY when the silver tongued Mario Cuomo (who described his politics as progressive pragmatism) was running the state, if I was still living there and had a choice between Nancy Pelosi and any Cuomo, I'd have to vote for Na...okay, maybe not that one, but anybody else...

It's going to depend on Paladino getting out the vote outside of NYC and Long Island.

Generally people who forward around a bunch of racist e-mails, as well as women involved with horses (I will leave it at that, since I was just banned for using a more descriptive term) have some serious issues.....
