Shows your mindset..

If at all possible, I'll try to conserve some laughter for Sarah Palin, though; she certainly deserves a few chuckles...
I am not questioning his influence obviously, I am not voicing an opinion of whether he was the greatest President of the 20th century, but I will ask you: where you even alive during his administration and were you old enough to remember what kind of PRes he was. That is why I am not voicing my opinion, I was alive, but not old enough to be able to judge for myself, I doubt you were either.

FDR? the greatest president of the 20th century? hardly. he was quite influential, but his tax and spend policies, along with all the new regulations he put in place on business, all conspired to increase the national debt, and while the spending did put people to work, it never created an environment where by jobs in the private sector were created. once the government spending stopped, the jobs went away.

i will say though that FDR did a lot of good for the country in that his spending added to the infrastructure, and his leadership during world war two was effective. but he was a flop on the economy.

Actually, FDR was an unmitigated disaster for America. The first corporate president. You'd think the lefties would hate the guy!

Not a damn thing & maybe, just maybe if he did act those two towers could have been saved along with the 3,000+ lives lost.

Im pretty sure he slaughtered some Camels with several hundred million of $$ worth of cruise missiles....

No such thing. The last conservative Democrats became extinct in the 80's when the southern Dixiecrat "Boll Weevils" died out. For that matter, there are no moderate Democrats. There are only two kinds of Democrats; liberal Democrats, and far left radical Democrats, the Marxist progressives. The so called Blue Dogs are a sham, they are not even remotely conservative, the best that can be said about them is that they are center left, not far left.

Lightbulb ~~~*~~~

A conservative is a man with two perfectly good legs who, however, has never learned to walk forward. Franklin D. Roosevelt, radio address, Oct. 26, 1939 ...

When you hear Cantor say things like, Bachmann has common sense, you know the Repubs have some credibility problems.
