If gas prices are $4 to $5 dollars and the UI rates in places like FL, NC, OH and IL (states he won last time) don't go down, the Pugs will probably win the slot, unless they trot out a loony like Palin.
States like CA and MI, it wouldn't matter what the UI rates are since they would vote Democratic anyway.....
I'm worried about Hoeven from ND and Pawlenty from MN, other than that, the GOP doesn't really have anyone, Obama needs to be concerned about.
If I was the GOP, I would look at Huntsman from UT, however, another LDS member, is not going to excite the southern christian right of that party.
