Apparently you have not read this thread since that has been answered time and again. If a business was so stupid as to blatantly discriminate we would picket, protest and call for boycotts and this business would go belly up; no need for a nanny state whatsoever. I believe in you more than you do.
No, I've seen you and others try to make that point time and again.
I do not believe for a second that you and the other people here stating their opposition to civil rights legislation would be out protesting against discrimination.
David Duke joined the KKK in 1974. He formed the National Association for the Advancement of White People in 1980.
He ran for office as a Democrat in 1988. He was still a member of the NAAWP.
He quit all racist organizations and ran for office as a Republican in 1992. His campaign was blocked by the National Republican Party, which effectively kicked him out of the party.
Saying he lost an election is not the same as saying he was kicked out of the party.
Feel free to provide any documentary evidence that he was kicked out of the party.
just came to my mind: one of my favorite bars in bangkok (which happens to be right next to the arab quarter, where lotsa nigerians and west africans hang out at night) banned west african illegals a couple years ago because they got fed up with them trying to scam customers. would this policy of no west africans (black americans are fine, just not west africans/nigerians) fly in the US or would it be illegal to do this?

He actually served as a Republican member of the Louisiana House of Representatives from 1990-1992.

And he was marginalized while there.
As much as you want to try and deflect the fact remains David Duke was in a leadership role of the KKK and the National Association for the Advancement of White People while he was an active Democrat. And Democrats never marganilized him.
I disagree. People buy chocolate and diamonds produced with literal slavery. People buy electronics that fund the most deadly wars since WWII in central Africa. Hell, people eat animals hat are kept in abysmal conditions and slaughtered.
People just are not wired to care about those who aren't directly related to them. The problem isn't knowing when something is wrong. It's getting people to care. Activists in the aforementioned areas will tell you that it is a sisyphean task.
You're comparing what happens thousands of miles away to what happens here. Very few people know about African on African genocide and slavery, it's just not talked about. If that stuff went on here, all heck would break lose.

We'll take the ******s and the chinks but we won't take the Irish.
