It would energize the base of the Republican Party a lot more than Romney, Pawlenty, or Huntsman.

The media coverage would be fantastic.

And Democrats would love it because they would assume that Palin/Bachmann could be easily beaten.

As a Democrat, I would love it. It would ensure that we're not only going to keep the White House, we're also going to keep the Senate and win back the House.

That would be the Democrats dream ticket. It would insure that President Obama was returned to the White House for at least four more years with the largest landslide in American political history and a mandate to carry out all of his proposals to the fullest extent.

As W would say, "Bring 'em on"!

I am about as conservative and right wing as they come but I swear to God if the republican RINO wing gives Romney the nomination I will vote for Obama.

I had to endure the insult of the RINO wing in 1992 when they dug Bob Dole up from the grave and twice more in 2000 and 2004 when they trotted left wing George Bush up then yet again in 2008 when they gave us that freak McCain whose only saving grace was picking Palin as VP. So what dead body do they pick up this time? Mitt Romney from Mass a left wing communist state if there ever was any.

So they, the RINO establishment, will pick Romney in 2012 and wonder why they lost to Obama. RINO's make me sick.

Democrats said the same exact thing when Ronald Reagan was running for the nomination in 1980. Oh how they prayed and prayed Ronald Reagan would get the nomination because they all knew Carter would slide in to an easy victory and second term.
