Obama is trying very hard to change the direction of an almost universal failure of American foreign policy for the last 50 years. The opponents to Obama talk about his APPOLOGY tours. They are idiots. He is just trying to rebuild some of the bridges the USA has burned very badly with it's nonsencical policies. His stratagy as far as Lybia goes was brilliant. Make the first move, drag in NATO, back off, give overall command of the mission to a Canadian and force the end of a 50 year brutal regime without doing much at all. Just outstanding in it's method and execution.
Now if only his department of state is able to help create a stable democratic and free Lybia who is a good friend to the USA his administration will be the most successful in foreign relations since Theodore Roosevelt.
Provided that this was his plan, which frankly I doubt, why is he now accepting praise for taking out the Lybian leadership?
If, as you say, the US did little and did not lead the way, and 0bama has consistently claimed we were not involved except for lending air support, how can 0bama claim to have had a role in this?
If anything, his illegal involvement shows a lack of leadership. Again.
Obama did have two bombs go off in the United States under his watch.

Once again Obama's adminitration can claim another huge victory with the way he handled Lybia's revolt, his administration including ms. clinton have been very effective regarding the handling of the various situations in the middle east, add this to the fact that Obama was the one finally capturing bin laden, we can say that he has been execellent regarding national security, compare that with gw bush invading iraq with fake intelligence, and the failure in afganistan.....
Obama didn't capture anyone. Some very brave and awesome Navy Seals captured Osama. Please don't EVER give him credit for that. He simply does not deserve it.

I can't rep you again, but well said!!!!!!!!! They have tunnel vision with their hatred for this President. They'd sooner put a nut who squats in the bushes spying on gays in the WH as the man who brought down Osama bin Laden.
1) Obama didn't make a move without the permission of the Arab League. Then he allowed strikes on targets that caused the Arabs to recant their support. How' is that "brilliant?" That's called mismanagement of a war of opportunity.
2) Obama cowardly went to Brazil while he left his Secretary of State to break the news of the new war he had engaged in. How does that qualify as Commander In Chief? That sounds like Panty-Waisted Pipsqueak to me. All because he knew politically that would make him a war-monger.
3) Obama stands idly by while Syria does the same exact thing that Libya is doing to its citizens. But yet not a peep, nor a NATO prod, nor a bomb. Why is that?
4) Barack Obama has not only upheld Bush's Terror Apparatus, he has fortified it with increasing vengeance. And you call this rebuilding bridges?
