Perry is currently destroying the competition in the polls. Even my conservative friends/family (you have plenty when you live in Texas) by and large do not like Perry and feel he has no shot. They are angry he is in the lead as they believe if this trend keeps up, it is four more years for Obama.

Do you think Perry has a shot in the general election? I just don't see it.

I think it must depend on who you talk to. We have a load of friends and family in Texas, I don't know of one that isn't either supporting him or will vote for him if he gets the nomination.

Let's face it, you want Obama to win so badly you will grab any straw to prove this or that Republican can not win. It doesn't make much difference who it is. Or let's put it this way, your may not love Obama, but you don't like Republicans as a whole.
