But it didn't work! Coal miners and their families appreciate the value of a little socialism in their lives when it comes to health care, organized labor, and workplace safety. Not exactly GOP strongpoints.

Maybe Obama's coat-tails won't be as slippery in 2012 as we thought!

Don't forget the Democrats also are aligned with environmentalists who want nothing more than to shut down the coal industry. Heck, Obama and Biden just flat out came out and said shutting down the coal industry is their goal. There are consequences to voting, and enviromental laws are one of them.

See this video...

All I can say is don't come bawling to me when Democrat based environmentalists shut down the coal industry and everyone is on welfare. Good job West Virginia

Ouch!

The more you post, the angrier your words become. Relax. This is all for fun. There's no money on the line here.

Yes, they put effort into it, and came up short. Just as the dems put effort into overturning the repub majority in the Wisconsin, and came up short.
But they DID unseat two GOP incumbents in heavily red districts. So, taking back WI will be less of an uphill climb next year.

And the dems put a lot of effort into the NY district where they pushed Grandma off a cliff, and won, or put a whole lot of effort into Weiners district and came up short.

All the situations are pieces, small pieces of the puzzle.

Try to bring a little research and thought into these discussions. Otherwise, you just come off as a know nothing, but one awfully sharp with the quip.
Strong words.

Again.

Unless you are from WV, or is a resident of WV...don't post in this thread. You know nothing. Get lost.

Lucky for the rest of us, you don't get to decide who can post of what thread.

Default one for you in a dem district...good work!

"Republican attacks on labor unions have consequences"

The labor union attacks on America will have consequences, ask Jimmy hoffa who wants to 'take out'/ read that, kill, political opponents.

The practices of the national and state teachers unions are enough justification to bash unions.

Dem dominated WV got one dem gov elected vs how many Reps won in other Dem strongholds?

Good for you, you got one point but your still on the losing end of the political spectrum.

West Virginia Democrat governors seem to buck Obama. I like Joe Manchin. Perhaps no one played the Obama tape where Obama says under his administration coal mining is on his s**t list (my wording, not Obama's). It's the same video where he says electricity rates under him will skyrocket.
