Apparently Mitt "Flip Flop" Romney and Michele "Forgot to Take My Meds" Bachmann think we should be in Iraq for decades:

GOP candidates criticize Obama Iraq decision – CNN Political Ticker - CNN.com Blogs

Of course, Michelle Bachman is just crazy, but I fully expect the flip-flopping Mormon to change his position on this issue as well.

Blasting is all the primary season is about. No one cares what they say or do so they refute every fart Obama makes. No surprises. They're desperate for attention.

These hapless GOP candidates continue to use their mouths to dig their graves. They are unqualified.

I expect President Obama to make more bold moves, such as pulling out of Afghanistan as well. No Republican obstructionism can stop these moves and they benefit the country.

Tremendous edge to President Obama.

That's EXACTLY the point I made in another thread. The GOP has no say in Obama's foreign policy- and it has been a virtually unqualified triumph!

Makes you wonder what we could accomplish domestically, if only we could get the GOP to butt out!

With Obama's actions today, and Romney's ludicris response ("Vote for me- I'll keep us in Iraq "), this election is over

Actually, quite a few people are criticizing how this was handled. It should have been better negotiated and smoother, but at this point I am just ready to bring them all home. They need to get them out of Afghanistan too. What we did in Iraq might have some lasting effects...that still remains to be seen, but I don't think we will ever make much of a change in Afghanistan. Evidently, Iraq wants to take care of themselves...so let them.
