It this really that surprising? The Republican Party is mostly old people, so of course they will watch the GOP debates more. Just look at any Gingrich or Romney rally on TV, and you see crowds composed of mostly geezers. Ironically, the only GOP candidate who draws younger crowds is Ron Paul.
...and apparently, they don't vote or get informed or there aren't enough of them or he would have carried some states in 2008.
I am 27 and I have watched every single one of them.
I was talking to an older co-worker who is also a Conservative and I told her I had stayed up late on Thursday to watch the debate and she said she wouldn't waste her time on Politics.
I just want to smack her! How can people have such attitude? Drives me nuts!
The sad thing is she and others like her won't vote in the primaries and then they turn out and blindly vote in the General Election based on some skit they saw on SNL.

most of those old coots are closet/open racists too. They don't want to see a half-black man in the WH.
I didn't need to see the debate stats to know that seniors vote in huge groups. The reelection of George W. Bush proved that. No offense to my senior Americans, but I hope non senile Americans show up enmasse to counterbalance their vote.

I'm an old geezer. Pre-boomer, at that. I watch the republican debates and I've come to some conclusions.
First off, when I look at the state of the economy, I think there's no way that Obama can get re-elected. Then I look at the republican candidates and see what a bunch of bozos they all are and realize there's no way he can lose.
"Frankly the current crop of republican candidates for president couldn't pour p!$$ out of a boot if the instructions were written on the heel". (Lyndon Baines Johnson)

And Paul is a natural for younger crowds. They want to get 'high' and drive around on 'Daddy's money...in Daddy's big car....and endanger the rest of us on the roads, using cell phones..and texting...and causing deadly traffic accidents, etc.
Driving around 'high'..texting, cell phoning carelessly....that's Ron Paul 'Liberty.'

I have yet to hear Ron Paul advocate for drug use and the repeal of traffic laws.

Good for you ! I have to admit when I was younger, I didn't participate in politics as much as I do now. I've gotten better and I encourage some of my younger friends and relatives to get involved !
