I think I could manage a congressional or senate or governorship run in regards to the 'dirt' on me.

However I don't think I could go through a national/presidential campaign. That is just another level of scrutiny and you get all sorts of things coming out of the woodwork, some things that you don't even genuinely remember.

LOL

Nah. He didn't do drugs when we were together....as far as I know. I do not drink nor do drugs, never have even smoked a cigarette. But he did do drugs for 15 years or so before he went into the Marine Corps and I did not know him at the time.

However, I have not seen him in almost 2 years and last I heard he is back at it again.

But I really don't care.

I do not have anything on my record. Not a darn thing!

He, on the other hand....

I have not, unless school council counts...lol. However, people in both my husband's and my family have held office in the past and I have helped several campaigns for various offices.

I never have run--like waterboy, by the time they got done with me Herman Cain would look like a choirboy. lol. I have volunteered a lot on friends' campaigns, going to candidate forums, going door to door, etc. It is a LOT of work. In my experience many of the people who run really do mean well. Our system is such that a) the good people end up having to bend to reality; b)some of the truly rotten people are able to advance thru the ranks of polticos at a much faster rate.

No, but know several who have. A lot of work, campaign appearances everywhere, sometimes tough questions.

Not I -- but I work with a guy who was twice the GOP nominee for a state senate seat here in Minnesota.

A nice enough guy, but once he starts talking politics he just sounds like Hannity ...
