Looks like it will be 2 out of 2 for Romney. He should win both Iowa and NH and then on to South Carolina where Newt will probably win and then to Florida who will settle it once and for all.

Romney in position of strength in Iowa - Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012 | 3:11 a.m. - Las Vegas Sun

Romney will win the nomination. It's inevitable, liberals who want the GOP to have a candidate like Newt. The GOP does in fact have a chance in November.

Ron Paul lovers, face it. Your idol has ZERO chance of winning the nomination!

It's not a matter of being obsessed with Ron Paul. It's a matter of believing in the ideas he represents.

It's a shame so many of you Republicans are so caught up in the idea of a victory for your party that you'll happily saddle the nation with 4 more years of a President that is little different from Obama.

Part of me actually hopes you get your wish. The country is rapidly becoming so disgusted with corrupt leadership that one more abysmal Republican administration could very well keep the neocons out of power long enough that an actual Constitutional conservative may have a chance at winning an election.

I believe in many of the ideas Ron Paul represents on domestic issues, though I think he is a bit too extreme. Nevertheless, Congress would keep him in check so domestic issues are not the reason I am not a Ron Paul supporter.

His foreign policy views, on the other hand, are assinine. Don't get me wrong - I do NOT like what has been going on, but I also think it's crazy to think we can just "talk with" countries like Iran and "make everything OK." We need to be somewhere in between. I like Jon Huntsman a lot for that reason - I think he is the most in the middle and rational on foreign policy.

Romney is not "little different from Obama." Do I like Romney that much? No. But he is the only one who has any chance of beating Obama, he will be a hell of a lot better than Obama, and he's less scary to me than Ron Paul.
