Ron Paul never had a snowballs' chance in hell to win anything anyhow.

He's the crazy uncle who lives in the republican party's basement.

If the outcome of the elections are pre determined and manipulated, it is possible. The republicans would narrowly retake the senate, keep the house and Obama would win re election with a third party candidacy bleeding off votes( maybe Paul but more likely Trump). Obama stays on as a rubber stamp lame duck basically bending over and letting the republicans have their way with him and the country stays as divided as ever. The real powers that be get everything what they want and the rest of the country gets nothing but blames each other. I'd toss Hillary into this scenario as Obamas VP and somewhere mid second term he resigns and she becomes president. That would stir up the pot.

I just heard Dylan Ratigan say something like this, "What makes Obama such an attractive option, are the Republicans". That is a pretty accurate view, at least I think.

I don't like when the current canidates treat me, as a potential voter, like I'm dumb...with such comments as...

1. If we don't replace current President, this country will be socialist in 4 short years...(duh...oh you mean even with Rep house members and Governmeners)...

2. We must re take this nation...duh....

3. Obama care must go...duh...

I could give more examples...but comments like those tell me they think those who recieve such comments aren't to bright, and operate on emotion a lone...

I will never vote for a canadite who thinks I'm voting for them simply cause I'm dumb...

It is too early to say who is going to win or not. I think Mitt by himself has a chance to win. But I do agree that his biggest threat is 1. getting saddled with an extreme right running mate or 2. a third party candidate with strong appeal to the same people that keep running from him.

Don't think Ron would do that to Rand. If Ron costs Mitt the election the GOP would take it out on Rand.

You guys have not seen Mormons mobilize! If Mitt gets the nomination, his "grass roots" will make Obama's voter registration drives look like a pre-school game of "Candyland", compared to what a group of motivated Latter Day Saints can do. While the LDS church says it is not "political", why do you think gay marriage did not pass in California?

Obama will be steamrolled by Mittens.
