That's a good video and you have to give respect to Paul if you support him or not, that now 14 years later, he's still standing behind what he believes in and never sold out.
Look at those idiots parroting the Reagan "just say no" propaganda at him at the end of the video when he explains that the war on drugs is the reason people are on the streets. He's absolutely correct. Reagan's war on drugs was at the top of his laundry list of failures.

You're right on point. The fact that some of Paul's policy positions run contrary to conventional wisdom does not mean that they are wrong, it only means people are too misinformed to see the truth. The war on drugs is a perfect example. No one except drug cartels are better off as a result of the war on drugs. Ending Prohibition put the entire mafia out of business overnight. Legalizing drugs would have same effect on drug dealers. The problem is, the government needs to keep cops, judges, and jailors employed. Even worse, I sometimes wonder if the government wants to keep us stoned so that we don't realize the pillaging of our prosperity going on.

Exactly.

It's obvious that the OP is going to vote for Obama no matter how much reality gets in his/her way.

The more people get to know Ron "The Prince of Pork" Paul, the more they dislike the loony nutjob. First the racist/homophobic newsletters, and now his sucking up to the Wall Street/neocon/GOP establishment. If he ever becomes a frontrunner (which he won't), there will be some more vetting involved, and more of his hypocritical past will be exposed.

Ron Paul = just another GOP Village Idiot from Texas, in the great tradition of Dumbya Bush.

Actually, the OP prefers republican puppets that will continue Obama's legacy. There is no reasoning with him.

Here we have a video of Ron Paul ranting and raving like a real lunatic, which he is, and his supporters just look at it as more evidence of how wonderful he is. Amazing! His supporters are just like Obama's in their blind loyalty.

I used to watch that show in the late '80's Glenn Beck stole everything
from Morton Downey Jr. for his show on FOX including the "big mouth"
logo. So much for originality.

Morton Downey Jr was the precursor to Rush, Beck, Hannity, and anything conservative talk radio you love to hate
They owe everything to Morton Downey Jr. May he rest in Peace. I loved the guy

I also voted for Paul in '88. Thanks for the memories

Well, I don't recall ever seeing/earing Ron Paul 'back in the day,' but he sounded as delusional, troubled then as he does now. At least he's consistent. Not the type of person to lead a nation. Not a city or state, either. Thanks for posting the link to the video.
