Do women find it distasteful that fred thompson's wife is 25 years younger than he?

Why no, if anything I salute the man.

However, I still think he is an unimpressive candidate benefiting from a lot of faux hype. He's no dummy, but he is hardly a visionary.

Why is it distasteful? CLEARLY he's a real attractive guy, even at 107. If he WEREN'T a rich actor/politician, women decades younger than him would STILL be throwing themselves at his feet!

God, capitalism is destroying our gene pool! :-(

Maybe if Thompson's wife were just a dumb twit, it might be distasteful. But she's had a very accomplished career and was successful on her own merit prior to marrying him.

And then they stayed together. They are the real pro-family people unlike some so-called "pro-family" people who divorce every decade. Why is it that the average conservative has been married at least 3 times while the Edwards' have been married for 3 decades?

It is nothing short of hilarious to watch the left foam at the mouth for reasons to attack the guy, and now they lower their standards even further and attack his wife.

Who cares if she is 25 years younger? That's their business. I dated a woman 20 years older than me for over 3 years. Had nothing to do with money since neither of us had very much.

Maybe Elizabeth Edwards latched on to Johnny boy after seeing how much he raked in as a trial lawyer? Maybe not. Who gives a flying freak????

People object to you leaving your wife to marry a younger woman.

There was quite a number of single years between Fred Thomson's divorce and Wife #2. His divorce was in 1985. He met his current wife in 1996 and didn't marry her until 2002 (6 years after meeting her).

The children from his first marriage were adults when he remarried. His first wife is remarried, too.

The only thing you can say about him waiting 11 years to remarry or marrying a woman 6 years after he met her is that declaring for President apparently isn't the only thing that takes him a long time to do.

I know I think he's hot. But, then again I have a thing for those hound dog/skeletal ghost pirate extra guys.

Who cares how young his wife is? I just know that I don't support his political views.

Why is it a problem?

Did Thompson divorce to marry this woman? No

Did Thompson marry her on the "re-bound"? No

Who cares what the age difference is? His current wife is one very sharp and intelligent woman.

I don't care if a male candidate had a male partner.I'll vote for who I think will uphold the laws of the Constitution even if he was gay.

On Thompson, well maybe she truly loves him, maybe it's a marriage out of convience I don't know for sure. She would be be a hit with foreign diplomats though without her ever having to speak.

It doesn't matter though,Ron Paul has my vote period.
