The democrats did learn their lesson by using voter fraud, dead people, etc.. they finally won an election.

Kerry led Bush going into the campaign, then Bush won the election. The OP is trying to demoralize Republicans by saying even if our candidate leads Obama today that Obama will win in the end.

Romney doesn't lead today. He's either down around 5 to 12 or statistically even depending on the poll.

I do like the Kerry/Romney comparison, though. Both were out of touch due to their wealth.

There is no comparing those two..nice try. At least Romney earned his wealth.

Oh, there is plenty to compare.

-Both are stiff.

-Both have "I'm better than you" type personalities.

-Both were politicians in MA.

-Both are Ivy League grads.

-Both sound condescending.

I suppose you could argue Romney earned his wealth, but I could argue that one might be confident as a businessman if they knew their immediate family had millions.

I almost thought you were talking about Obama there, except for the MA part.

Swap MA with IL and every one of those things perfect describes Obama as well. Fail.

Then why do the polls show Obama is much more liked than Romney?
