Say what? So its better to give a guy who is clearly damaging the country another 4 years than to take a chance on somebody new? Thats pretty smart of you.

And you "obviously" can't stand it when people disagree with you because you lash out with insults every time you respond to them.

To those of you who do nothing but screech about Democrats and deficits, take a look in the mirror:

To paraphrase Newt Gingrich: Can we drop the pious baloney?

Jobs and the Economy: President Obama and Democrats are fighting to strengthen our economy further and create jobs for American workers by ending tax loopholes for corporations, providing tax cuts to small businesses, investing in a clean-energy economy, and putting Americans to work rebuilding our infrastructure.

Science and Technology: Democrats believe that scientific research should play an important role in advancing science and technology in the classroom and in the lab. In order to compete globally, our next generation must be equipped with the tools and skills that lead to the technological innovations and scientific breakthroughs of the future.

As a former long-term Republican, I say these all look reasonable and in the nation's best interest.

Energy Independance? They don't meantion the cost, the government involvement and they over all increase in taxes, to forced regulation to be independent. From light bulbs to green energy it seems as long as its expensive and gives their corporate buddies new money the FED printed it will all good stimilus.

Education? Remove the department of education and all unions when dealing with childrens education and let parents use LOCAL and state tax credits to send their kids to a different school or private school or homeschooling.

Jobs and the Economy? Appears democrats think all jobs and how things work come from washington thou to be fair so do republicans :-)

Science and technology? Um yeah again what has the government created without using war reasons and killing as its main scource for both of these. Leave it to the private sector.

The current state of California is it's broken, fiscally they're a mess, the Democrats have been trying to find a way forward with few choices and the Republicans take tax increases off of the table without giving any suggestion on what to cut.

It's not a fault of any one party and the Republicans are as much responsible as the Democrats.

Actually it's the democrats who are far more to blame....they are the HANDOUT party...they are the BIG GOVERNMENT party. To them....government can't be TOO big...the bigger the better.

So if you are looking for a good place to lay MOST of the blame...it's on the clueless democrats swho think nothing of mortgaging the future of Americans who aren't even born yet to buy votes with handouts and enabling the irresponsible Americans out there who would rather the government lead them by the hand and pay their way than to make it on their own.

it's disgusting what this country has become.

It's the same as sticking their collective heads in the sand and wishing the problem would go away on it's own!

If you were the CFO of a company...just how long do you think you would have your job if the books showed you were running in the red for over 3 years and had done SQUAT about changing it?? You wouldn't just be fired...you'd be INCINERATED....and rightfully so Becuaswe you would have proven to be an incompetent clown. So why is such incompetence accepted by you left wingers?? is it because it's the DEMOCRATS who have not come up with a budget?

Not incompetent?? My God man....you need to rethink your position.
You don't understand finance on the country scale. They're not the same as a company or our checkbooks.
