I've tried to find out who the heckler was, but no one is reporting on that. But you might want to rethink your assumption that he was a Democrat. There is no love lost for McCain among many Conservatives. Go read a few far right sites and see what they have to say about him--it's not flattering or supportive.

That said, it was inappropriate no matter who the heckler was.

Are you saying there was only one heckler? As far as I'm concerned, McCain is just as much a traitor to this country and the Constitution as Obama is, perhaps moreso, because he's been stealing from us for far longer.
Romney will be no better. NDAA should be the headlines, but we are being diverted to talking about Bain Capital ad nauseum.
Everywhere McCain goes, he should be heckled off the stage! He will be instrumental in getting us into another ME war.

I'm not a Dem and I think McCain is among the lowest of the low for his attacks on our 1st amendment rights.

I would probably refrain from attacking him on Memorial day but I wouldn't have went to see him in the first place.

At this particular event, yes.

I rest my case. Actually, there is a rumor going around on one Conservative site that the heckler was a Ron Paul supporter...

That would be my guess, since they are the ones that throw around the word "warmonger" more often than any other group so it would come as no surprise.

Given how some of his recent bills assault first amendment rights, John McCain no longer deserves any respect.

McCain used his military service for self gain/profit to an obscene extent. Shamefully so. You know there are reports that his downing/capture were the result of his hijinks in the air, don't you? I wasn't there and can't say for certain, but given the reports of his cocky behavior they might be true.

Really? The day after memorial day and you're calling McCain a traitor. Really? How many years did you spend in a POW camp in service of this country? What's that? None? Thank your lucky stars that there are men around him that step up and don't hide behind their little computer.

This was his first 4 days...
"Every two hours, one guard would hold McCain while two others beat him. They kept it up for four days."[LEFT]

When you internet tough guys stop calling decorated war heros let me know. Until then, you're nothing but cowards.

The guy spent his career in the military or in public service. There were more lucrative options for him. He also refused early release as a POW giving up his chance to go home. That you guys question his dedication or motives is disgusting.

...and the moon 'may' be made of green cheese. You haven't been there either have you? Perhaps you can stick to some information that's on the record. His family had a long military history. He VOLUNTEERED to join the Navy. He almost died in combat. Was shot down and tortured by this country's enemy. He also refused early release. He finished his regular career and then went into public service.

Have you done that much for your country? What kind of person would talk crap about one of this country's war hero's on the internet? You could give the guy a high five, but he can't raise his hand higher than his shoulder since he was badly injured in a POW camp.

Shame on all of you.
