These people are idiots.

MISSOULA, Mont. — A bullet-riddled outhouse labeled "Obama Presidential Library" containing a fake birth certificate for Barack Hussein Obama and graffiti that read "For a Good Time," and a reference to first lady Michelle Obama was on display at the Montana Republican Convention in Missoula.

The Missoulian reports (Montana GOP convention features bullet-riddled 'Obama outhouse' : Missoulian: News and Resources for Western Montana ) the display on Saturday also contained "For a Good Time" references to U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and U.S. House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi, her name circled in red.

The display, painted to look as if it had numerous bullet holes, was parked outside Missoula's Hilton Garden Inn that drew some 500 convention goers.

The convention also included a raffle for a 12-gauge shotgun, shovel and duct tape, a reference to "Shoot, Shovel and Shut Up," involving the illegal killing of wolves or federally protected species such as grizzly bears. The newspaper reported convention goers burst into laughter at the raffle reference.

Former presidential candidate Newt Gingrich, the keynote speaker at the convention on Saturday, said if he won the raffle, he'd give the prize to his 10-year-old grandson.

They had several of the Krazy Kar Krew as speakers too. Seems like there would be an abbreviation for that group that makes sense, hmmmm, well maybe that might make Mr 999 turn as white as a sheet! Then there was hilarious "Bucks" Beck ..... Classy group there. Maddow did a good job describing it.

That's just the way Montana is.
The Democratic Governor doesn't use a stamp; when he vetoes a bill, he tacks it on a board and sets it on fire with a VETO branding iron.

Former Gov. Judy Martz, a one-term Repub wing nut, was immortalized in stone on a decorative frieze panel that was installed on one of the govt. buildings in Helena, the state capital- she's in the middle of a bunch of high-stepping hookers, made recognizable by her distinctive hairstyle and her glasses.

A former Repub opponent of Sen. Max Baucus quit the race with only 5 weeks left before the election in a fit of pique after a reporter dug up a 30 year old video clip of him when he was a hair stylist- he was shown wearing a huge afro and sporting all the polyester crazy fashions of the 70's, patting a male hair model's mullet. Until then, he was virulently anti-gay in his campaign.

One of Montana's current Senators is missing 3 fingers from an accident- he was fooling around with some blasting caps when he was younger.

And both parties are behind the current challenge of private no-limit campaign funding that is on the docket of the Supreme Court. Montana's government was totally corrupted by private corporations for many years; both politicians and voters were bought by corporate money, and neither party wants anything to do with the new law. They tried to ban the no limit contributions, but the law was struck down, which caused the challenge.

The state has a population of less than 1 million people, and their major sport has always been politics. It shows- for such a small state, Montana has often produced strong national leaders from both parties.
