I think Hillary's ability to be sly and under-handed is failing her miserably. The real reason she has stuck it out this long is because she has a lot of faith in racist America's ability to assassinate people. You know, I'd like to believe this, but she had already brought up the RFK assassination to rationalize staying in the race several times prior to this--even before the Ted Kennedy diagnosis.
actually this is the 5th time she has referenced the RFK assassination during her campaign as Olberman pointed out in his special commentery section on MSNBC and now is when she apologizes for it?
I am sure that she has previously thought or spoken to a confidant that " the only way I could win this now, is if Obama were to get shot."....she may not have wished it.....but I bet she has thought it and expressed it. When she was asked, why she was staying in.(a very good and straightforward question)...she thought and fumbled and then...she came up with two reasons...1) Bill didn't win until June (I am so sick of hearing about her husband) and 2) because Bobby Kennedy got assassinated in June so the primary continued.... Those were her two reasons! She had previously speculated on assassination......and she and Bill and others have been inflaming the racist thugs (read "uneducated poor rural white voters in Appalachia") who might take the cue.
