Low wages and hiring teml workers to avoid paying benefits is not ethical. There needs to be some through investigating into employee comoensation throughtout. Too many new hired workers are gettinf the shirt end odf the stick.

Unemployment should also be eliminated. My idea would be for all the unemployed workers to be hired by the givt to complete a project. Ex: The california bullet train can use laborers, land surveyors, painters, project managers, forklift operators, tractor drivers, to get that job complete. Pay all of these unemployed workers twice as much as they woukd get off unemployment to complete a project all of society can use.

What do you guys think?
how very socialist of you. yes lets blame business for doing what they have to do with in the law to stay in business. and lets waste even more tax payers money on "make work" jobs which will in the end just waste money we dont have.

even during the great depression FDR couldnt hire everyone he wanted to as there just wasnt enough money available.

instead of looking at things as a disgruntled college student, try looking at things as a business owner would. you have to make a payroll every week or two, in addition you have to make a profit to stay in business, and to do that you have to provide a product or service to your customers at prices they can afford. and while doing all of that, you have to comply with various government regulations , pay property taxes EVERY month, which means you have to inventory EVERYTHING once per month, etc. etc. etc. most businesses operate on a slim profit margin, and that means controlling every bit of cost they can. force a business to pay more in wages, benefits, taxes, or regulations, and they will pass those costs onto the consumer. when that happens, the consumer usually buys less, which means les profit for the business, or even a loss. and too much of that can put a company out of business.

What really worries me is that if he wins, would neo-conservative chicken hawks seize control of foreign policy? Foreign policy is one of the few things that the president really DOES control, as opposed to gas prices or economic catastrophes or what have you. Would we start making aggressive moves towards Iran or Syria? I can't deal with the idea of another war like Iraq, and that is a big factor in my voting decision.
I hear 'ya, and this part ain't very reassuring news...
Mitt Romney's Neocon War Cabinet
"Of Romney’s forty identified foreign policy advisers, more than 70 percent worked for Bush. Many hail from the neoconservative wing of the party, were enthusiastic backers of the Iraq War and are proponents of a US or Israeli attack on Iran. Christopher Preble, a foreign policy expert at the Cato Institute, says, “Romney’s likely to be in the mold of George W. Bush when it comes to foreign policy if he were elected.”
