Obama leads Romney 53 percent to 40 percent among likely voters. A majority of likely voters, 55 percent, view him as more out of touch with average Americans compared with 36 percent who say the president is more out of touch.

Taken together, the results suggest an unsettled political environment for both Obama and Romney five months from the November election, with voters choosing for now to stick with a president they say is flawed rather than backing a challenger they regard as undefined and disconnected.

Interesting.

Oh I see you are reposting an outdated poll that is an outlier again. BTW that poll oversampled Democrats, the people in this poll gave Obama a 53% job approval rating, a full 7 points above Gallup at the same time!

interesting

walidm/the Obama campaign are just miffed about the CNN poll. The quality of the DNC's shills has gone down a lot since 2008.

Where did you dig this up from? The two polls today show, Romney ahead by two in one poll and Obama by 5 in the other. I think you better look for some updated polls. Remember these polls are changing by the day.

I remember when Daddy Bush hadn't been in a supermarket in over 20 years and didn't know what a scanner was.

That was back in the good old days when the economy was growing under competent Republican leadership.

Now we get 4 years of 8%+ unemployment and $5T+ in new debt, yet the clueless out there still want to give Oblama another crack. Amazing, ain't it?

People want Obama because they are lazy and expect you and I to pay for their stuff. I worked over 60 hours last week and have asthma, yet I see plenty of able bodied people sitting on their ass all day playing video games and having sex, which produces babies that my overtime is supporting. The dems want to reward the freeloaders even more. Maybe those of us who work our butts off should go on strike and what will the freeloaders do then?

Don't get me wrong, I am all for helping the disabled, elderly, and children. Heck, I am even fine with helping people who are down on their luck. I am not fine with people who are able-bodied taking advantage of welfare or unemployment to get out of having to work and expecting me to support you.

What are you 6 years old?

Seriously, bringing up a petty insult like that and one that I already showed you was false. Bush knew what a scanner was...it was a New York Times liberal hit piece that falsely said that he didn't.

The NY Times reporter was not even at the event. The reporters there all said that NY Times article was misleading/false.

and your point is? What does that have to do with anything? We are not talking about daddy Bush as you call him and 20 years ago, a lot of people who didn't shop regularly might not totally understand scanners. bTW it wasn't 20 years or longer since he had been in a supermarket...it might have been a statement but not meant to be taken literally...
