Ummm yeah Obama is still hiding his real birth certificate so uh I'm pretty sure that's like I don't know 10 times more important seeing as it's a restriction to being President and releasing your college transcripts isn't!

"One of President Obama's first Official Acts was to sign Executive Order 13489 on Presidential Records. This EO replaced President George W. Bush's more restrictive regulations on the treatment of Presidential Records. It actually restored accessibility to many presidential records that were restricted by the previous president. It made presidential and vice presidential papers LESS secret. It reset rules covering presidential papers back to the way it was under Reagan. It UNCONCEALED presidential papers that Bush wanted kept secret. Bush's EO restricted Presidential papers longer than the 12 years the law allowed, added VP papers, let heirs and estates decide whether or not to keep records secret, and was the subject of several lawsuits. Obama's EO made those lawsuits unnecessary.

Presidential Records Act has never applied to records before the election of a new president, or to personal records, or to childhood or school records. Obama signing this EO did not seal or hide any of his personal documents such as birth certificates, school records, records as a lawyer or legislator. What the EO DID do was to cancel the restrictions that George W Bush put on presidential records in EO # 13233 from November 2001, and roll the regulations back to Reagan's order #12667. Bush's EO placed restrictions: Obama's lifted those restrictions. The information about Nixon's and Johnson's archives that have been coming out this year are because the restrictions were lifted. Bush said that former presidents and their estates could still claim executive privilege: Obama's EO says only the current President could."

The Fogbow: Birthers Debunked :: Other Claims

Now back to the question of the thread. If these college records are so important, why is Romney refusing to release his?

You must have been living in a cave for the last four years, with no access to any media outlets. Otherwise it would have been impossible for you not to know that he released his birth certificate in June of 2008, and his LFBC in April of 2011. And if so, you missed the mocking that Donald Trump took at the Correspondants dinner over the release. Go look it up--it's priceless.

Yeah because our media is so honest with us all. It was a fake and he wouldn't have tried to hide it for so long if it weren't. Stop defending the dictator!

You post a link to a Pro Obama site (birthers debunked) and call it fact? Really? That would be like me posting from the Blaze.

Here smart guy:
Sure, there’s (1) the original, long-form 1961 Hawaiian birth certificate. Then there’s:

2) Marriage license between Obama’s father (Barak Sr.) and mother (Stanley Ann Dunham)— not found, not released
3) Obama’s baptism records — sealed
4) Obama’s adoption records — sealed
5) Records of Obama’s and his mother’s reptriation as US citizens on return from Indonesia — not found, not released
6) Name change (Barry Sotero to Barack Hussein Obama) records — not found, not released
7) Noelani Elementary School (Hawaii)— not released
8) Punahou School financial aid or school records — not released
9) Occidental College financial aid records — not released.(These records were, however, subpoenaed but Obama lawyers succeeded in quashing the subpoena in court. No other Occi records have been released.)
10) Columbia College records — not released
11) Columbia senior thesis — not released
12) Harvard Law School records (not mentioned below, but not released)
13) Obama’s law client list — sealed
14) Obama’s files from career as an Illinois State Senator — sealed
15) Obama’s record with Illinois State Bar Association — sealed
16) Obama’s medical records — not released
17) Obama’s passport records — not released

Now say something deflective for us.

You're missing the point. Why does Obama need to release his transcripts, but Romney does not? Why is no one demanding that Romney release the same documents that they are insisting Obama must release? The whole point of this thread is to point out this hypocrisy. Demand them from Romney, too. But you're not. Why not?
