The only statement of yours that I'm responding to is that President Obama had control of both houses for 2 years. While the (D)'s did have a simple majority in both houses, they only had a super-majority in the senate for approximately 190 days (6 months) over the 1st 2 years. Couple that with the (R)'s record use of the filibuster, or threat of filibuster, and you get what we have...an obstructionist congress...

I don't understand why you don't see that.

Is it because you don't want to? Is it pure partisan ignorance?

I don't know...

Remember this post URBAN? What happened to your concern for EVERYONE having health insurance?

ooh ACA doesnt do that, but you stand here and applaud its success, despite the number ininsured climbing from 36 million to 41 million americans

We should go back and bump up all of these quotes from these people that were FLAT OUT WRONG.

Weird, data shows that the number of uninsured has fallen. Must be that right wing "data" you get your information from.

And everyone should have health insurance, we all knew ACA wasn't going to cover everyone, but it was better than what we had before. Maybe one day the Republicans will realize the importance of universal healthcare.

One is the governments job as described in the US Constitution. The other 2 are not the governments job. It is up to the people to be free and figure it out.

Obama sold us out. What has he done for us?

He woke you up. He warned you. He said it over and over....

"Don't let 'em hookwink you. Don't let 'em bamboozle you."

So, no excuses. When you wonder what he did for you all you have to answer is, 'He told us to listen.'

Of course, he should have been telling you to think for yourselves.

eRayP abandoned City Data long ago.

What's with the recent resurrection of all these old Zombie threads? Re-hashing the recent past is not a good way to think towards the needs of the present and the future.

Maybe eRay's departure shows he is smart enough to know whipping a dead horse has never brought one back up on it's feet yet, and never will, even if the dead horse is whipped into tomorrow.

What part of, its fallen AFTER it climbed, dont you comprehend?

The numbers arent from right wing sources at all, Obama himself said we needed to pass ACA because 30 million were uninsured, now we have 41 million.. Urban thinks it fell simply because the number first grew to 46 million before falling to 41 million.. yeah, liberals are very bad at math..

They could have had real numbers fall by simply expanding medicaid..

Tell me urban, what happened to the need for EVERY american to have insurance, thus the reason you supported ACA? ooh, thats not important anymore, they can DIE!!!

In response to someone I have on ignore why do the Democrats hate America? Why are they for decreasing American job opportunities and wages via illegal immigration and amnesty? Why are they for overcrowded conditions in our healthcare facilities, hospitals and schools which also results in higher taxes for their social costs on the American people?

I guess you can't ignore that poster after all?

Democrats don't hate America.

The rest of your rant belongs in the illegal immigration forum.
