While the right will paint a very negative picture of Obama because for some reason they hate him, in reality he has done quite a lot Obama Administration’s Achievements (Thus Far) » Obama's Achievements Center, despite enormous obstruction and filibuster from the opposition.
As for the economy not being as robust as we'd like? you'll notice that its a global problem not just an American problem. Our particular problem could be improved substantially if the GOP wanted to get involved but they are too busy collecting their paychecks for doing basically nothing but making sure Obama is a one term President...

Thanks to Mr Obama:

National Debt has increased more under Obama than under Bush

Quote:
Mr. Obama doesn't mention the National Debt much, though he does want to be seen trying to reduce the annual budget deficit, though it's topped a trillion dollars for four years now.

As part of his "Win the Future" program, Mr. Obama called for "taking responsibility for our deficits, by cutting wasteful, excessive spending wherever we find it."

His latest budget projects a $1.3 trillion deficit this year declining to $901 billion in 2012, and then annual deficits in the range of $500 billion to $700 billion in the 10 years to come.

If Mr. Obama wins re-election, and his budget projections prove accurate, the National Debt will top $20 trillion in 2016, the final year of his second term. That would mean the Debt increased by 87 percent, or $9.34 trillion, during his two terms.

If by "improved substantially" you mean more short-sighted, wasteful and counterproductive government action, you are correct. You say the GOP is doing basically nothing, but it has thwarted the most misguided agenda in many decades--and it has been very diligent and hardworking in serving, as intended, as "checks and balances."

Did you notice that the Tea Party was sent to Washington in 2010 by the American people, who evidently wanted the brakes slammed on the Obama agenda? You seem to think that the problem is a few dozen GOP office-holders, but you ignore the millions of people who in the last election administered the worst drubbing of a Dem congress in many decades. Ask yourself, why did that happen?

"For some reason" we hate him? Don't think so. He's just in the same position as the boss's hapless nephew, overmatched and overpaid for his job, when the new boss is about to show up. I admire how far he got, with so little to work with. Now he needs to go work on his presidential library back in Cook County.

I would be the last person to say that the Tea Party agenda in its entirety is the optimal course to follow. But you are misreading history if you didn't get the message of 2010. Don't feel bad; nobody in your party seems to have caught on except for a few congressmen and senators now facing the elctorate again.

Too bad that your fake scenario doesn't add up, eh?

Even AFTER Bush left, Obama has increased the deficit and debt exponentially. Those were HIS budgets that had trillion dollar deficits...Bush had NOTHING to do with HIS budgets. May I also remind you that Obama had two years of complete control of Congress?

...and to say that Obama has put ANYTHING back on the right track flies in the face of REALITY!!

Polls all show that the vast majority of Americans say he's leading the nation down the WRONG track.

Forget the polls.....the economic and unemployment numbers PROVE that.

Big fat lie...

And you know it...

But you will continue to espouse it...

Why?

Why do Republicans hate America? It seems like all they care about is invading countries and expanding our military...nevermind providing quality healthcare and jobs to Americans in need.
