That's exactly the point. Obamacare, or the affordable care act, was modeled on Mitt Romney's Romneycare program in Massachusetts--the one he's been trying to walk away from since he started his bid for president, because so many conservatives are upset with Obamacare. Romney has vowed to repeal Obamacare if he's elected. Now one of his top aides is saying that if they'd had a program like Romneycare, and now Obamacare, it would have saved that woman's life. That creates a huge problem for Romney, and it was probably one of the all time stupid things I've ever heard come out of a campaign in my life.

I wonder if Mitt Romney were President, would he pressure the State of Massachusetts to repeal Romney-care, or use his buddies in Congress to find some way to kill it?

I sorta doubt it, don't you?

They wouldn't repeal it. They KNOW it's a good thing, and one of his aides made the mistake of slipping and actually saying the truth out loud. It makes Romney look all the more like a cynical, flip flopping hack that will do and say anything to get elected when he says he's going to repeal it just to win votes from the tea party.

Maybe that's because Mitt Romney REALLY IS the guy Grover Norquist was looking for:

“All we have to do is replace Obama. We are not auditioning for fearless leader. We don’t need a president to tell us in what direction to go. We know what direction to go. We want the Ryan budget. We just need a president to sign this stuff. We don’t need someone to think it up or design it. The leadership now for the modern conservative movement for the next 20 years will be coming out of the House and the Senate. Pick a Republican with enough working digits to handle a pen to become President of the United States. This is a change for Republicans: the House and Senate doing the work with the president signing bills. His job is to be captain of the team, to sign the legislation that has already been prepared.â€
~Grover Norquist, calling for conservatives to elect a weak President they can use as a puppet, CPAC, February 2012.

This ad just points out the horrible flaws afflicting Romney and his "flip flopping ways". Obama is going to stand there on stage during the debate and when this subject comes up about "Romneycare" in Massachussetts Obama will turn around and say " Mr. Romney? Where did you think the whole premise of Obamacare came from if not from you & what you passed in Massachussets?"

Back in January, the Romney supporters here were jeered by other conservatives. The weaknesses and disarray of the party was shown over and over, as they fell in and out of love with one candidate after another.

As all the sparkle ponies bit the dust, the only survivor of the Klown Korral was Mitt. What happened to all you guys? Was this some kind of infectious madness that has gripped you all? Why are you suddenly loving on the Mittster when all you did was hate on him for months and months?

I understand. All the prettier ones done buggered off and ran away after getting whipped. So now, you gotta put some lipstick on the only pig left.

Wow! Another gift for the Obama camp. Even Ann Coulter is having a crap hemmorage over this one and wants the girl fired...for telling the truth!
A gift indeed. A little slip of the tongue that just proves Romney is a "Moderate" at best and by no means a "Conservative" like he tries to make the Righties believe. Hey, we'll take that comment and use it. Thank you very much! Rush is also left speechless today and you know that doesn't happen very often. I love it! HA! HA!

Or mabe it's just better that those of us who have a basic respect for the rules of both economics and civility to wait four more years, until the Chicago gangster in the White House and the Cult of the Braying Jackass can face full accountabiility for the damage their follies have caused.
