Anyone who has some money and not dependent on the government is too wealthy/rich for their own good these days.

We're setting our goals in the wrong direction here. Don't hate on those that saved and can retire and support themselves.
Agreed, sad state, as those who are successful should be admired...but alas, if we want to make our own decisions, we shouldn't be allowed to do that, we might spend more than our neighbor, we might decide to invest, ...Big Brother has to make sure we spend appropriately, and for sure be taxed ata super progressive rate.....
