Interesting point of view, but I was trying to quantify the issue.

Almost as brilliant as the crazy loons the GOP dredges out from the fringes of the African American community to explain why black folks shouldn't vote for Obama.

You couldn't pay a Hollywood writer to make this stuff up.

I give them credit for trying.

The Obama campaign has written off the white working class and straight male vote in favor of racial division and a newly invented war between the sexes.

This is their default strategy since Obama can't sell permanent 8.3% unemployment or never ending affirmative action to white men who work for a living.

Right huh. Trying to reconcile this notion of equality for all by wanting to grant the same rights as heterosexual couples to homosexual. I guess you'll be voting for the party in favor of inequality....

Just like blacks marrying whites.... you don't have to love or like it..... Just respect that as American human beings they have the same rights as other American humans. It's pretty straightforward: inequality or equality.

Why would I, as a woman, vote for the GOP? They want to control my reproduction, they have no idea how a woman's body works AND the women I know are for the repeal of DOMA and that same sex marriage is made completely legal.

Sorry, but there is no way I'd vote GOP at this point. Independent, yes, even the Dems don't make me very happy but at this point they're the lesser of two evils.

Heterosexuality is nature's design, not mine.

Poopers simply don't make babies.

Got an issue with that?

Take it up with Mother Nature.

I've put my penis up plenty a female pooper and never made a baby. Does that mean that neither I, nor those women should be allowed to marry?

So, women who have gone through menopause, or are infertile due to medical treatment, or have had a hysterectomy should be banned from marrying? How about those that have had a vasectomy or a tubal ligation?

How about men who are infertile?

Do they ask for a fertility test before issuing marriage licenses?

How about couples that plan on being childfree?

And what about lesbians? Do they not count?

They didn't bother getting that one voted out by Congress, they just swore not to enforce it.

How about the support of same sex marriage? What does that do for women? This list goes on and on and for some reason women just can't see it because they have been told that their rights to control their bodily functions are the most important thing to and for them.

Wow, those who I have been hearing about how smart they are and they seem to not be able to see what they are being used for.

Why Women Should Not Vote For Barack Obama - Godfather Politics
This is the most insulting post to women I've seen here. It is stunningly patronizing. YOU think women believe or don't believe something because "WE'VE" been TOLD WHAT TO THINK!

And YOU think you need to "correct" us by telling us what YOU think!!! dear god!! And YOU think women are being used because you obviously think that women rely on men to tell them what to think because they're too stupid to read, listen, research and analyze for themselves which political position is positive for them and which political SEEKS TO harm them. I'm just horrified that there are still people out there today who believe this kind of tripe!

This post is the PERFECT EXAMPLE of why women should NOT vote for Republicans.

What I find totally insulting is the fact that these men are saying basically that women are so dumb that they must have politics "explained" to them by men!!! I mean really!

The OP is a man telling women that they don't understand what Obama and the Democrats are doing to them, and then goes even further to say that women are being used because they are too dumb to understand politics and to see that they are being used... And these jacka**es think women are going to fall for that kind of insulting BS?!

The right to control my body IS one of the most important things to me.

At 80 years old, you have already expressed in other threads your own fears at losing that same autonomy at the hands of Adult Protective Services, doctors withholding medical care, or insurance companies not paying for services (confused by you as 'death panels').

You seem to be projecting, and clamoring onto idealogies that mirror your fears and your projections.

I would no more vote for a party that wants control and oversight of my body or that of my daughter's than you would want that control and oversight over your own body at the hands of a government panel, physician, or APS agent.

Wake up, Roy.
