I don't have anything against gun owners. It's ok if they feel safer. I just don't understand the need for assault weapons. Is this a zombie apocalypse thing or what? And don't tell me it's protection against a socialist government. That dog won't hunt.
Dems don't hate anybody. They just want to make their appeal to the most congenial demographic, which in their case is largely young, ethnically diverse, female, sarcastic, and amoral. The Dems are into being everybody's mom. They're just having trouble finding enough dads to pay for it all.
Just as the GOP, with their base of old, white, male, pompous, and judgemental. They pitch militarism, fiscal rectitude, and rugged individualism. Except for crop subsidies and tax breaks for businesses. And golden parachutes for the already rich.
So go practice your faith! Who cares? Just keep YOUR faith out of MY face. And that includes the government, which isn't yours exclusively. It doesn't belong to the religious fanatics, it belongs to all of us, and a lot of us don't share your belief in some unknown and unknowable entity.
Christians and their perpetual "victimhood." You won't be happy until everyone worships as you dictate. And then you have the gall to whine about freedom.
