At least he's being realistic. I'd rather hear than a promise to do it in the first year which really gives him mere months to present something to Congress. That's unrealistic yet that is what Obama promised.

Id rather him be realistic than make promises that cant be kept. Obama made way too many promises. Dont say what you think people want to hear, tell the truth, which is what he's doing. Obama isnt going to balance anything either. He isnt even close.

Of course he won't. He'll rack of debt and deficits just like all his past GOP predecessors with hyperactive defense spending increases and more tax cuts for the rich...which is why it is extremely important that this slimeball be kept as far from the White House as humanly possible.

So what exactly has Obama been doing other than racking up debt?

Well, that would be good if he actually fixed anything but things are worse compared to when he took office and he did say if he didn't turn things around he'd be a one term president. I say let's make his prediction come to fruition.

Only an unrealistic would believe it could be balanced in less then 1 year.

If he proposed massive cuts in entitlements you would be the first one crying about how those cuts would affect the middle class and the poor.

What is YOUR plan to balance the budget?
