"…I certainly expect to have a person that has a strength of character, a vision for the country, that, that adds something to the political discourse about the direction of the country…"

Any Republican with a vision is not going to touch the VP offer with a 10 foot pole.

Mitt ain't the guy, and this ain't the time for thoughtful and ambitious Republicans.

May I take liberty of qualifying his statement and see if it rings more true for you?

"Any Republican with a vision WHO HAS PRESIDENTIAL AMBITIONS HIMSELF is not going to touch the VP offer with a 10 foot pole.

Default romney-ryan ticket is a guaranteed disaster

what is willard romney thinking about, this guy is as bad a choice as crazy palin, he wants to destroy medicare, while keeping defense spending intact, do we need to remind ourselves that we spend more in defense than the next 15 biggest countries put together, and ahh 14 of them are our friends, his budget proposal according to economists does not make any sense, certainly more intelligent than palin, but so is a crocodile.....
