I agree. Obama did better than he did in the first debate and Romney didn't do quite as well as he did in the first debate, which evens out to be a tie. I don't think it was enough to change many minds if they aren't sure who they want to vote for, especially the uninformed who don't pay close attention.

I think if someone was going to give Obama one last chance to explain his economic plan to see if there really is a way he can fix the mess we're in, they would not have gotten any answers and might have decided on Romney. Also, if someone jumped off the Obama wagon just for the sole reason that he was out to lunch during the first debate, they might have migrated back to him since he looked like he at least knew something this time.

It was definitely not a loss by Romney, and more of a tie.

I'll give you a great example why..

Last night I not only said Obama won the debate, (even if by slim margins), but this lead into a 5 page discussion from liberals which said that I was wrong because Obama won the debate.

And when I defended Obama not saying that Libya was a terrorist attack, because it wasnt attacks against civilians, I was told again that I was wrong, Obama did say it was a terrorist attack, even though he never said it.

When you have to non stop argue with someone because their a conservative, even when they agree with you, then I may as while just tell you that your wrong and tow the line like Democrats do non stop..

I personally think it was a draw. The moderator blew it on the time allotment, almost 4 minutes more for Obama, she injected herself into the Libya question allowing Obama to encouraging actual cheering from the "independent" crowd and Romney could have come back a lot harder on Libya and the Keystone Pipeline.

But at least we all learned that Obama does better at a lower altitude.

They know they lost. They know they lost badly. For Republicans to call it a draw means they were totally whipped and humiliated by Romney's failure to deliver.

This CNN poll Polling Center: CNN Poll: Who won the debate? - Elections & Politics from CNN.com shows 67% thought Romney won and 25% thought Obama won. And of those polled, 37% were Democratic and 33% were Republican. So what does that tell you?
That poll was conducted on Oct 3 after the first debate. CNN shows Obama winning the second debate 46% to Romney 39%

No such thing happened last nite. Obama performed so horribly last time anyone suggesting he won was simply dismissed as an Obambot.

Last nite I saw Romney offer a vision of the future and address the economy. While Obama did not although since he was more engaged folks say he won. The same polls that show him winning overall by a thin margin show him losing big time on the economy.

I ask you what is the main issue if this election? So how could Romney lose if he wins decisively on the main issue?

Wow. Ok. I'm not a Republican and I will not vote for either worthless candidate. I don't know if you really believe what you typed or just want to believe it really bad. Obama showed up this time and did really well. Compared to his first debate - this is an excellent performance. But, Romney did no worse than the first debate. I don't know what it is with many of you that you have to have a winner/loser. Debates like these (unless you don't show up, like Obama in the first debate) aren't meant to be thought of that way. Both the Biden/Ryan and this debate were pretty much even and those who already had their candidate picked out thinks their candidate did the best and "humiliated" the other.

It was a push at best. Just because Obama actually showed up for this one doesn't mean Romney lost.
