Let me please fix your post: Romney simply has too much going for him that will capture the majority of votes and 0bama is too much of a ongoing sickening joke. If most Democrats/Liberals really wanted to win they would have had another candidate to challenge 0bama in the primaries. The only thing 0bama has going for him is that he is going to retire after this election and that will be a relief for most of us Americans.
I don't think so. I agree that the Democratic Party should have had other candidates run against zero(?)bama, but that is besides the point. Obama has the minority vote on lockdown, votes that Romney is desperately trying to capture as he will need these to win. Now, by minority I am not just talking about African Americans. Obama is now known as the President who ended the war in Iraq and began the timeline for withdrawal in Afghanistan. He is also credited for "getting Osama". Now, any intelligent person will know that Obama wasn't solely responsible for these things, and that any sitting President would have been credited, but that is how it goes and it is a big deal that will get many veterans' votes, too. Also, Obama stating that he is committed to channeling Defense money to the VA is a very big deal, too. There was also Obama's vague approval of homosexual marriage, too.
The things that most initial Obama supporters disapprove of are not being talked about. Probably because these things are approved of by Conservatives. I am talking about things like Guantanamo remaining open even though Obama promised to close it. And drone strikes in countries like Pakistan or against non-military targets (re: civilians).
And, unemployment is down. Unemployment figures are false to begin with since they only count those who apply for and/or collect unemployment, but still, according to those numbers, unemployment is down. So he also has that going for him as well.
Then there are those who simply do not want to vote for Romney for what-ever reason. Romney has an empty promise of improving the economy. That is a very big deal, and will get Romney votes, but no single person, let alone President, has that much power. There is a reason why there is a President, Senate, and House. Romney will get the votes of those who toe the Party line, and those independents who do not want to vote for Obama. Outside of that, what does he have? A few niche corners?
And to say that most Americans want Obama out is false. Recent polling indicates that it is a close split.
I remember hearing an answer he gave to someone that he would be fine if he loses. He is only offering to fix the mess, but if the voters don't want the economy improved, they can vote for Obama or the other person of their choice. I would say that he probably has enough money to buy an island somewhere and live on it if he so wishes.
He could just buy Mexico, I'm sure his family has the money. I mean, they are rich and have been living there since the late 1800's, anyways. Then he can hire all the Mexicans to work for him and there would be no need to for them to cross the border. And he could tax all of the American companies that fled to Mexico (under Reagan, by the way) to a point where they want to return to America. It's a win-win.
Go live with his money were every it is & then 2 yrs later might try to run for President again I surely hope he does not I can stand not another 2 yrs of his lying flip flopping
He already said he was not going to run again ... so we'll have to see if 'ole Flip-Flop keeps his word.
what will hussein do after he loses the election too?
