They know if they don't honor the bet some might call them out on it and their word will be essentially worthless. I know they aren't taking the bets because they are afraid, plain and simple
You're wrong about polling. You should probably visit some sites other than MSNBC and Daily Kos. The polling shows Obama is about to lose. The only reason some polls appear close is because the polling companies are using ridiculous voter turnout models of D+6 D+7, etc. The IBD/TIPP poll actually used a D+9 model to get to their ONE POINT Obama lead.

Man I gotta give it to you guys...this confident level of denial you are carrying is both admirable and scary.
We are 1 week from the election and there is almost NO indication that Romney will win...unless you go off the hopes of a few dozen conservative pundits. Most of the polls show Obama, the predictive markets show Obama....and to add insult to injury, the last week of the election is going to be dominated with Obama looking presidential and Romney doing dorky food drives and pretending they aren't campaign rallies.
Yet you insist. INSIST! Somehow Romney will win this.
I am consistently saying, I'm calling it a 60/40 odds, for Obama. But a 40% chance of a Romney win is really big. Incumbent gets an advantage, but its not a sure thing for either guy.

I never said it was either. If I thought it was in the bag I wouldnt bother checking poll sites. However, Im far more confident about the outcome than I would be if I was a Romney supporter...and this idea that HE WILL WIN IT IN A LANDSLIDE AND *******S WILL CRY is borderline delusional.
