all I have to say is...regardless of the jeep scenario, Obama and the liberals are trying to make America a welfare state. Vote Romney if you don't want you and your neighbors to turn into lazy *******s.

Let's not forget that the only reason Jeep or any American brand automaker has been able to outsource to places like China is because of the free trade policies first put into place by Democrat President Bill Clinton.

It disgusts me as a union member that unions continue to support the Democrat Party which is ultimately responsible for outsourcing labor from in this country. Want to lose your union job? Keep supporting the free trade policies the Democrat Party has been pushing for over 20 years

So it would be better for Chrysler to ship the Jeeps from the U.S. to China?
What is it with people not understanding the difference between outsourcing and building for a specific market.

Is Toyota, BMW, MB, Nissan "outsourcing" when they build vehicles here?

As for the OP: the biggest "lie" of the ads for me is that they completely omit the fact that Chrysler is investing all kinds of money in the Jeep plants here and is ramping up hiring as well.

Anyway, both ads seem to have backfired. People are not as stupid as Mr. Romney thinks they are.

Hope of victory slips away as Romney lies backfire in Ohio

What has the Republican Party done to tweak, change or knock down the Free Trade policies that allowed American factories to outsource in the years since Clinton? Nothing. What have the Democrats done? Nothing. The unions, on the other hand, have been fighting it tooth and nail for years with no results. Big business rules Washington on this issue. Neither party has clean hands.

You really do not know what a welfare state is.
We all live in a society and we are all part of that society. To turn our backs on the people who are having tough times is NOT how any society should behave........ that is what they do in Russia and Iran.

This whole thing started with a complete lie on Romney's part in a campaign speech. Then it morphed into a technically true set of ads designed to deceive and scare people.

As for what happened to the promise that the bailout would help? Well, it did. That much is obvious to the people who still have jobs and the people who will be hired as domestic production continues to ramp up.

Leave it to the desperate Romney campaign to try to spin a company doing well into a bad thing.
Fiat Says Jeep Output May Return to China as Demand Rises - Bloomberg

Read the end of the first paragraph so that you can understand where Romney got his idea.

....And then apologize to Mitt for being so ignorant of the facts

Man, you must have nailed those blinders on.

I think the ignorance shoe is firmly on the other foot, here.
So....explain again just how the auto bailout is helping US auto workers when Jeep is using resoruces from the auto bailout to start production in China? Because that is the only thing discussed in the ad. You can try to spin it all you like...but that doesn't mean what you say is true. I do understand though...most Obama voters have reading comprehension issues.

I also quite understand that Romney's tactic of lying about virtually everything has now "dumbed down" the right's ability to tell lies from the truth.

Jeep is expanding production in Ohio, genius.

Spin that.

And Mittens was against the bailout before he filp flopped and said he was for it.

Spin that.

And, who says I'm voting or Obama?

pssst, he missed the part where Jeep is expanding production in Ohio...adding approximately 1,500 jobs.

But let him continue in his RW media bubble a little longer...it comforts him.
