I guess you also feel that the only reason Chris Christie is saying FEMA and President Obama are doing a fine job is because of money? The Republicans of today have no idea what coming together as Americans means. The bailouts worked, jobs were saved, and the Republicans are whining about it. Sad, very sad.
Do you realize that the bailouts began when George W. Bush, a Republican, was President? Or do you also have a case of Romnesia?
I mean, the Romney Op-Ed was written in Nov 2008. Obama took office in Jan 2009. Just in case all of the hours sitting in front of the tube watching Fox has clouded your mind, here's the article from the New York Times dated 11/18/2008, and what he said.

Now he's insisting he didn't mean what we read because he's been misinterpreted and misquoted by the Democrats. Sure, that's it. Nobody understands the poor guy.

Who would be proud of that? Even you have to admit that this forum is just for fun. Half the people on here are loons and the other half like I and presumably you know who we are voting and why. The banter is nice and we don’t run around calling the candidates a “Muslim” or “the devil” or “soulless Mormon.” (you might I didn’t read all your post)

Well, they're covering a lot more issues and time with President Obama of course, since he's the President. Romney wasn't campaigning (well sort of) all these years or running the country, so he wasn't in the news all the time. In some cases Politifact's truth meter hasn't been right, but I'll give you this one ... all politicians lie.
And by "make all of its models" people have taken that to mean that they will move production of all of their vehicles to China, not that they will make all of their models locally so that they are available for sale to the Chinese.
'Cause see, I read it the second way first, last and every time I've read it.
