'This what always gets me about Romney. You can usually say in just a few words why someone wants to be president: Reagan and Teddy Roosevelt wanted to be heroes, Clinton wanted to be loved, Nixon and Obama wanted to be respected, etc.

Sometimes the motive was venial and sometimes noble, but normally I 'get' it.

With Romney I honestly have no idea why he wants to be president. Resume padding seems such a weak reason to put yourself through hell. And nothing he's said has gotten me any closer to understanding.'

Yeah, leadership is watching Navy Seals die and refusing to help them. Leadership is talking about your opponent, instead of what YOU are going to do (not that you have done anything so far). Leadership is not showing up when there is a crisis UNTIL there is a crisis days before an election.
