Looks like Mitt Romney is getting caught a bit with fibbing, first about marching with Martin Luther King, then stating he saw his dad march with MLK. This is on top of other issues, such as claiming endorsements he never received.
Not helping his flip/flop reputation.
My personal take on this is he is sunk as a viable candidate:
I don't know, candidates have bounced back from much worse. I think it is far away enough from the election that if he just stops right now he is still viable. It will be interesting though.
It has been my view that as the primary timeframe wears on Mitt will both be exposed as a person who has difficulty with telling the truth, and will frequently be running against his past positions.
I think he is sunk. The Democrats are more forgiving about this stuff, Republicans really have more difficulty getting past it.
If he "fibs" about the small stuff, what on earth would he do with the big issues? If he hasn't figured out yet that every word will be scrutinized, he's not being realistic. Maybe someone in his church should make him aware that it doesn't look good to lie then so strongly talk about your faith.

Yeah, I'm really surprised. Maybe his motto should be "If in doubt keep it zipped!"
You know almost ALL candidates lie during the process. If this was true then all the candidates are at fault except for Ron Paul... you should vote for Ron Paul if you want someone with honesty and integrity..
