I didn't read the article, but is Obama's popularity on the list?

I imagine that tomorrow will go as expected, with Republicans making gains in the House, and taking the Senate.

Here in Texas I keep seeing pundits try to describe how Wendy Davis can actually beat Greg Abbott. I believe it involves all Republicans coming down with Ebola and being quarantined. Otherwise, no chance.

It will be funny with Obama trying to table bills, like Reid did since 2011

I think the wave will happen. And the Dems will win the seats back in 2016. Now, given the numerical majority of the Dems, and the horrible governance, fear mongering, and pretty much 98% horse pucky leadership of the GOP for the last decade or so, the Dem voters should learn to get off their butts and vote. Why put the country through this for two years?

I think there is no tidal wave. There is a wave, but it is hardly that big. The GOP will gain seats in both houses and the Senate may tilt.

The GOP might embarrass themselves over the next two years, but I have some hope that they will attempt to pass good legislation that forces Obama to act. It is worth the price of popcorn just to remove Harry Reid from his position as Senate majority leader.

This is what the left does in the face of a defeat - try to manage expectations. If the republicans don't win a veto proof majority now, they've failed.

Actually - it's because they got off their butts and voted that they've put this country through this for the past 6 years! Wish it was the old days where Dems actually thought with their brains and not those butts - guess I'm a dying breed.

Don't you worry, there will be tax cutting , budget cutting measures and hopefully a plan to cut the deficit. The only Obstacle will be the power of the Veto from Obama.

I think the interesting part will be watching where Ayotte, Kirk, Toomey, Rubio and Bennett start coming down on issues- and even where the start. Each is facing reelection in a swing (Ayotte/Bennet/Rubio) or possibly hostile (Kirk, Toomey) state during a presidential year. Johnson faces the same but I doubt he cares & I suspect he is a goner from the jump. So that is an R caucus 5 members on political high alert from the start.

Although if truth be told half the problems come down to Reid and McConnell being equally **** poor leaders. As much as everyone craps on Pelosi- out of Obama, McConnell, Reid, Boehner and her- she is really the only one who could accomplish a darned thing. The other four basically represent a dumpster fire of leadership failure.
