I''m for none of those candidates. I think those voters are all shallow but it seems to me, getting out the woman vote and getting out the black vote is held in a higher regard by the media. I'm just sayin'...
is it any worse than getting out the white male vote? that's been the formula for the republican party for the 20th century and today. the short answer is ALL are shallow. it's time to listen what each candidate's positions are and then hold your nose when you vote, unless ron paul runs as a 3rd party candidate.

What does 2 million metro mean? It was just on the news that Vegas just passed the 2 million mark. That 552K is like 12 years ago. Unless they are telling us more trickery with numbers.

Ok I looked it up. Vegas is 552K as of 2006. Clark County just surpassed 2 million. It would be nice if the news people would have made that clear so some of us dont make fools of ourselves.

Metro as in metropolitan area. Here in Chicago, for example, there are around 2.8 million people in the city of Chicago, but around 9 million in the metropolitan area, which includes the burbs.

Still, Las Vegas is growing like crazy. 552k in the city, 2million metro? That makes the city of Vegas larger than the city of Atlanta. Atlanta metro area is a lot bigger (5million +), but it's a lot easier to sprawl in an area where (until recently) water is a little easier to come by.
