If you are considering Fred Thompson but want to know more about the candidate this link has a ton of information on him. The MSM doesn't talk much about him so if you want to research him here you go......

good link ! right now Fred Thompson is the most conservative choice, that is actually able to win. Its time for the ron paul supporters to come over to Thompson and actually make a difference.

The GOP is in for a rude awakening this election cycle. Right now, in communities all across this country, we are joining our local precincts and getting involved. Today, there are 4988 more precinct leaders in cities and towns all across the country that support Ron Paul than 3 months ago. We're moving into the GOP faster than any other demographic. We're becoming delegates at the state level. Call it a conspiracy theory or whatever. Label us kooks. But we are involved. If people here don't understand what this means, do some research on what it takes to win the GOP nomination. If people are afraid of Ron Paul, they're going to be a lot more afraid when they understand how the elections work.

While the odds may be stacked against Paul in the media, in the debates, and with people who would rather talk about bombing Iran because they are a threat to Israel, they won't be if we complete our goals. This election cycle is working to our advantage. Everything you need to know is out there on the web. We're tired of politicians taking from us to give to foreign nations under the guise of protecting us. We're tired of losing our civil liberties. And we've stopped complaining and started doing.

People may think this is about Ron Paul, and to some degree it is since he was the one that motivated us to get involved, but it's about America. Land of the FREE. Home of the Brave. I want my country back. It doesn't end in November.

updated: 5349 precinct captains as of today.

I live in Washington state, I am actually surprised how many Ron Paul supporters are here. I thought this was a liberal state!

Fred wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for two things. One his heart just isn't in it and the man just looks like death warmed over. Two, his expansionist liberal foreign policy which has not served our best interest for a great number of years.

Unless of course this method of attacking any nation we simply deem, "threatening", driving up the price of oil past 200 a barrel, making gas in the US 5,6,7 dollars a gallon and driving our economy in the dirt so that illegals don't want to come here and terrorist no longer see us as a threat, then yeah, that would work.

Mr Thompson does look like he is phoning in his campaign. The thing I don't like is that if you listen to him, he sounds like a recording, a mumbling recording.

Fred Thompson is my guy!!! he is at the top of my list, a real man that doesn't suck up to the media, love it!! He doesn't try to pretend to be someone else, he actually thinks before he speaks what a concept and unlike many others is a true conservative. I am not judging him on his appearance and I bet if it weren't for tv people would have a different opinion of all the candidates.
