I'd be more interested in knowing what your opinion is of Hillary Clinton' flip-flop on "Gay Marriage." In 2008 she declared that she believed marriage was between a man and a woman.

Barack Obama also declared that he believed marriage was between a man and a woman.

Why is it important that Walker changed his view on immigration (specifically, amnesty), and it isn't important that Hillary (or Obama) changed her view on "gay marriage?"

She also flip-flopped on Iraq. She supported the removal of Saddam Hussein.

Have you heard of changing ones mind? It is usually thought to be a mature thing to do. YOu have a view but time and thought can change them. Oh I know for many that isn't the case, for people with a brain it is? Have you heard of spinning or taking things out of context? Of course not, God forbid it you did think of that happening. Of course you would never do that!!!!

Let's look at the facts. He has two options:

1. Find a private plan, which is getting increasingly hard to do. The private insurance sector is becoming harder to find and more expensive because of Obamacare.
2.Get insurance through his employer. Being he is a member of Congress, i.e., US Government, he has the choice of Obamacare.

Try to find the hypocrisy in that.

I can see him changing his mind on Common Core, as the rollout is becoming a disaster. But, on Amnesty? A true Conservative wouldn't change their mind on that, IMO.

FYI, this is a thread about the flip-flopping of Scott Walker. If you want to discuss something else, go to, or start another thread with your topic of deflection.

Now, what is your opinion of Scott Walker flip-flopping three times on amnesty with the last two flip-flops within the past month?

Yes, that is problematic for him. He must think his primary rivalry is Jeb.

I could not care less what he believes.
He's not Obama, and that's the main thing.

Put a fork in Walker, he is done!

Quote:
What makes this worse is not just that Walker can't be trusted on amnesty and border security; he can't be trusted on anything he says he believes in. If he was untruthful about such a key issue as immigration, telling the public one thing and private audiences another, there is no reason to believe anything else he has said.

I simply don't think Scott Walker is suitable or trustworthy enough to be nominated for president, and I suspect that after this latest revelation, many Republican primary voters will feel the same way.

No, Walker is hardly done. Immigration in particular is a difficult issue. The nation was built upon immigration, but with our modern welfare state and high unemployment, we have to rethink and adapt. Any politico who is inflexible on the issue is probably an unthinking dolt who is not going to get my vote.

We know what the position of Pres. Obama is. He supported unmitigated illegal immigration. We don't know yet where Hillary Clinton stands. Presumably she'll follow in his footsteps, but we don't know. Expect flip flops from both sides on this issue, because it is a difficult one.
