Right, how far back in the day? Im sure it was well before the PC liberal crowd took over. These days, you can't even ask someone of they are Mexican without offending the PC crowd. You had it good back then man, you had it so good.

ultimately the buck still stops at trump. if this is his defining issue then he should have made sure, thru whatever chain of command necessary, that his own house was in order ( .... or it does come across as hypocrisy ).

Okay, I guess I make a distinction between:
  1. Someone who comes here illegally but endeavors to become legal (first highlighted quote)
  2. Someone who comes here legally and overstays their welcome yet remains employed and pays taxes (second highlighted quote), and
  3. Someone who comes here illegally with no intention of ever being legal possibly because they are a criminal as Trump mentioned.
If Trump is employing those in category 1 & 2 and condemning those in category 3, I have no problem with that. I had some ancestors that were in category 2 and ended up going home right before they could have been granted amnesty.

But as usually, the political discourse in our country fails to make distinctions when talking about such matters. It's either 1. we should have open borders and let people come and go as they please, or 2. we should build a 50ft high fence around the country.

Obama's been blamed for virtually everything since taking office, funny how the whiny righty skin gets so thin when the blame goes the other way, eh? Trump put himself in the kitchen, he deserves the heat.

Unless you can cite how Trump hired them, its a non issue, whereas we can cite Obama signing 2009 budget bills into law, while people like you guys blame Bush
