After the "debacle" that the Dubya & Cheney administration was when they left the US at the end of 2008 with two Unpaid and unsettled Wars in Afghanistan & Iraq,
The US had the biggest Recession and economic crisis since the "Depression" of the 1930's with bank failures & Wall Street brokerages in financial bankruptcy which were bailed out by US taxpayers and a debt housing financial crisis, in addition to $4+ dollar gasoline prices?
Why should we vote for a Republican President?

The GOP = the "Status Quo" and GOP hasn't failed us yet. You now have candidates who want to repeal ObamaCare which has been upheld twice by the USSC, you have candidates who want to repeal Gay Marriage which is the law of the land, you have candidates who want to repeal Abortion to the point that Mississippi only has One legal abortion clinic in the entire state yet Roe vs. Wade has been legal since 1971.

These are cultural issues which is very "talibanesque" when the Republicans keep saying they are for "freedoms"! and they keep playing the same games saying they care about people when they cut back how many people can collect UnEmployment checks, cut back billions on Food stamps for working families, won't increase the Minimum wage to give people a actual "Living wage" so they don't have to be on Food Stamps.

We are now into the 7th. year of the Obama Presidency and we have No Wars, a decent growing economy that has 64 months of positive GDP growth and Gas prices that are at half what they were when Obama took office.

The GOP is on hysteria regarding the IRAN nuclear deal yet they have no plans besides "sanctions" just like they have no plans to replace "ObamaCare".

Again! What is the reason to vote for a Republican President in 2016?

Q: Why should we vote for a Republican President?

A: We shouldn't, but many will. It's easy to fool the sheeple - just feed their hate.

I forgot to mention that I'm a Independent voter for two decades now. The GOP doesn't need me to give them multiple choice or haven't you seen the 17 candidates running for the Presidency?

What a dumb thread..
1) Democrats continue to tell us presidents arent responsible for the price of oil, unless prices are falling under Obama, or discussing Bush
2) the recession happened under a Democratic Congress, and anyone with half a brain knows that Congress is where bills are passed
3) The GOP warned going back to 2002 that there was an oncoming recession and housing crisis, Democrats laughed, ridiculed, wanted to lower equity rations of banks even more.
4) What the fk you mean NO WARS?
5) GDP growth usually takes place after they fall.. And now since the GOP runs Congress, are you going to claim the continued growth is due to the GOP? (I highly doubt it is, nor that you'd give them credit even if they are)
6) The stimulus bill per the CBO resulted in a .2% REDUCTION in GDP because the money needs to be reversed out of the economy.
7) The Iran deal, is just a repeat of what we've been doing with them for DECADES.. It'll become a crisis again in 5-6 years when they want more money, but Obama said we werent going to police the world.. Now we're policing Iran
8) If the economy was doing so great, as you claim, we wouldnt even need to discuss a minimum wage increase because demand for labor would increase. You just acknowledged things arent as great as you just claimed they were.
9) When Obama took office, gas prices were $1.89 on average, so unless you're paying under $1, claiming gas prices have fallen in half is A COMPLETE LIE..
10) It was Republicans that went to court to remove DADT, while Democrats like Obama and Clinton OPPOSED gay marriage.
And finally
11) ACA was sold to REDUCE premiums, insure EVERY AMERICAN, while reducing the deficit..

It does nothing promised, and actually caused 11 million to lose private policies, while the left celebrate MEDICAID numbers, which would mean that people arent really doing well, unless you consider poverty FANTASTIC..

Glad I dont have your standards...

Can you shut up already? I mean, like my god. The facts above are true. You're "facts" were just uneducated statements. The facts above use actual statistics, which you clearly didn't loose. Just admit that OBAMA has been a pretty crappy president. It's ok. Bush wasn't great either. But don't put Obama on a pedestal of "greatness". He hasn't done anything helpful or useful for this country. You can blame him for the low moral standards of our country and for the HUGE, and I mean HUGE race divide in the country.

One good thing about him as a president is that he actually tried to do what he promised to do during elections and succeed in many of his initiatives.

Bad thing is the way Obamacare is structured as Romneycare, bringing punishment to those who cannot afford to have insurance in the first place. He specifically said during debates he's totally against that approach.

I don't disagree that the GOP is a waste by and large. The reason people will vote GOP is Hillary. (just answering the question)
