And what’s going to be their takeaway from this disaster once the dust has settled and the Republican Party is left to tally up the damage? It’s this: “This is all the fault of the nefarious Democrats! We don’t need to change a thing! Trump was an aberration foisted upon us! Fully speed ahead!”
All I can do is smile and agree. Full speed ahead, Republicans. Full speed ahead!
I think this meme gives too much credibility to folks who would rather think that something they don't like is the result of a conspiracy because that's more comfortable than realizing that something they supported had anything to do with the situation they are bemoaning. In the long run, thinking like this is not good for democracy.
But I'm human, and when it comes to Trump - I agree, it's funny!
Keep dreaming because you know in your heart that Trump is in this for good either as a Republican or as an Independent.
He can stay in as long as he likes as a Republican. Nobody is going to tell him he cannot run. But if he cannot win the Republican nomination, he cannot win the presidency either. And he knows it.
Donald Trump does not have the intellectual depth of a Ross Perot. All he has is his angry, loud mouth name-calling routine. That is clearly entertaining to some of the reality TV fans who are legitimately angry about our political system and our politicians.
But after a certain number of episodes, even these people are going to expect something more. Just like they do with their TV entertainment. Which in this case would mean carefully thought out policy positions, of which he currently has none.
No point speculating about any of that though. The Donald is just waiting to take his final five steps. If you really do not know this already, you will see soon enough.
In all likelihood, she gained at least 10 times as many new fans as however many she may have lost, which I suspect in fact was not very many.
Doesnt seem that way. Many people signed a petition telling Fox News to ban her as moderator of any future Presidential debates. It wasn't meant to be the Megyn Kelly show.
True (I'm surprised her FB page wasn't shut down), but I never liked her. She is a lightweight.
That question she asked was not "tabloid" or "lightweight" by any stretch of the imagination. Only a Trump worshipper would see it that way. He cannot handle criticism and disrespects people as a course of habit simply because they criticize him. He has the mentality of a 15 year old.
Death blow from Fox News' Megyn Kelly already taking effect on Trump
At least you admit FOX and Kelly had an agenda and singled out and attacked a candidate. Sooner or later Trump will fall out of the race, but at least he has managed to expose FOX as a corrupt group of political activists.

Imagine having the audacity to question Trump about his electability.
Just like they did the other 9 on the stage.
Oh the humanity...
